Material Composition

The DAFA Renovation Collar is crafted from black, soft, stretchable, and UV-resistant polyisobutylene. The back features a robust acrylic adhesive specially developed for sealing and laminating all types of vapour barriers, wind barriers, roofing membranes, and radon barriers.

Installation

Installation Guide

  1. Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean and dry.
  2. Positioning: Place the collar over the existing pipe or cable penetration.
  3. Mounting: Press firmly to secure the self-vulcanizing collar onto the substrate with a minimum overlap of 20 mm.
  4. Sealing: The acrylic adhesive forms a strong bond, eliminating the need for additional sealants.
